This page explains how to delete your Cape May Aerial Ads account and the data associated with it. The Cape May Aerial Ads apps (iOS / Android / web) are private to Cape May Aerial Advertising LLC — accounts are created by an admin and given to pilots or customers, so there is no in-app sign-up flow and no in-app self-serve delete. Account deletion is handled by emailing us at the address below; we reply within two business days.
Email info@capemayads.com from the email address on file for your account, or click the button below to pre-fill it:
Request account deletionPlease include your username and whether the account is a pilot or customer account so we can locate it. We’ll confirm receipt of the request, and again when the deletion is complete.
When we delete your account we remove the following from our live database within 30 days of receiving the request, and from rotating backups within 90 days:
| Data | Deletion |
|---|---|
| Account record (username, display name, bcrypt password hash, role) | Deleted |
| Refresh tokens (sign-out sessions) | Deleted |
| Push-notification device tokens registered against the account | Deleted |
| Per-device notification preferences | Deleted |
| Tail-number pairings tied to a pilot account | Deleted |
| Uploaded banner artwork tied to a customer account | Deleted |
| Plane GPS location history that originated from the deleted pilot account | Deleted (also removes that pilot’s flight tracks) |
A small amount of data is retained for legal and operational reasons independent of any individual account:
You can effectively unregister your phone right now without contacting
us by uninstalling the app, or by turning notifications off in your
phone’s system settings. Apple and Google notify our server when
the token is no longer deliverable; the row is removed from our
device_tokens table on the next push attempt. Account-level
data is unaffected by an uninstall.
